How To Install & Use Bit Torrent

There are many peer-to-peer sharing programs and websites to choose from. Bit Torrent is one of the most used peer-to-peer sharing programs. Bit Torrent can be used to download your music, movies, tv shows, and software programs. Bit Torrent is a easy program to download, install and run. Here are the steps to get you started to use Bit Torrent.

The first step will be to download the Bit Torrent client. You can download this at the following site.

Once the Bit Torrent exe has been saved to your PC you will then want to double click on the Bit Torrent exe to start the install.

Next the Bit Torrent client will ask to install itself to your PC. To start this process click on the "Run" button.

The Bit Torrent setup screen will appear. You will then want to click on the "Next" button to move to the next step.

A Warning screen will appear. You will want to read the warning description. Once you have read the description you will then want to click on the “Next” button.

Next the License Agreement will appear. You will want to read the description then click on the “I Agree” button to proceed.

Bit Torrent will then ask you where you would like to install the application. Here you can choose your own location or keep the default location. Once you have decided on the location you will want to click on the “Next” button.

Bit Torrent will then install itself to the start menu, to processed click on the “Next” button.

You will then be asked to install an optional toolbar, it is up to you if you would want to install the toolbar. Once you have decided to install or not install the toolbar, you will want to click on the “Install” button.

You will then want to click on the “Finish” button. Once you have installed the Bit Torrent client you can now go ahead and start downloading music, movies, tv shows, and software programs.

Now that you have installed the Bit Torrent client you can now start to look for and find your music, movies, tv shows, and software programs.

To look for your music, movies, tv shows, and software programs to download you will want to visit the following sites.
http://www.mininova.org/
http://thepiratebay.org/
http://www.torrentz.com/
Besides from using these sites you could also use google, ask, yahoo, msn, or aol serach engine. To do this type in the name of the music album, tv show or software program then torrent.

Once you have found the torrent for your music, movie, tv show, or software program you will then want to download the torrent.
Before you download the torrent you will want to check the "Share Ratio" before downloading any torrent. If you see a torrent that has very little "SEEDS" and "LEECHERS" the torrnet might be a virus.
Remember "SEEDS" means how many people are sharing the music, movie, tv show, or software program and "LEECHERS" mean how many people are downloading the music, movie, tv show, or software program.

Once you confirmed the torrent is fine you can start downloading the torrent. To do this you will want to click on the "Download this torrent" link. Most all torrent sites have this link for each torrent.

Next you will have to save the torrent to your PC. Once you have selected a location and saved your torrent you then can move to the next step.

Now that you have downloaded the torrent you will want to double click on the torrent to start the download. Once you double click on the torrent the Bit Torrent client will open and ask you where you would like to save the following music, movie, tv show, or software program. Here you will click on the "OK" button. From there you will start downloading music, movie, tv show, or software program.

Once your download is complete, you will then want to delete the unused torrent. Now you have learned how to install & use bit torrent.
