How to Play Pass The Parcel

Supervised by an adult or teenager, Pass The Parcel is a great way to occupy children at a party. Follow the steps to learn how.

When there are a few people present, like at a children's party, have them sit in a circle.

They should quickly pass a small gift, that has many wrappings on it, to each other in one circular direction only.

Have music playing.

Stop the music from time to time and the person with the parcel removes the outer wrapper.

Begin the music again, and continue in this manner until the person that removes the last wrapper receives the gift.

For little children that may feel left out because of only one receiving the main gift, a good idea is to insert a sweet or sticker, or something else small, between each of the wrappers.
