How to Play the Licence Plate Travel Game

A simple car game to play while travelling fairly long distances, mostly used to keep the children from getting carsick or bored.

Use pen, or pencil, and paper to draw columns for however many people there are in the car.

Decide on a distance to travel, or time to spend travelling, before it will be announced that the game is over.

Each person takes turns to be allocated the last digit of the licence plate number of cars approaching from the other direction.

The numbers are added up in each person’s column, and the winner at the end of the game is the person who has the highest score.

To throw a spanner in the works, every time a car approaches that has 0 as it’s last digit, the person who the number would have been allocated to has to start from scratch.
