Make a paper doll to dress up in paper clothes.
1
If you don’t draw too well, get an old coloring in book or magazine and trace a simple figure.
2
Make sure the shoulders of the image don’t slope down too sharply too soon or else the flaps of paper clothes won’t effectively support the top or dress the doll will be dressed with later.
3
If you haven’t immediately drawn your doll onto card, and have traced it first, then copy it onto card; you want a cardboard doll that will last longer, and be fun to dress for a long time before it gets too scruffy and you have to make a new doll.
4
Use felt tipped pens, wax crayons or pencil crayons to give your doll an attractive (or not) face, and color in his or her body.
5
Make different size dolls or various doll family members or a whole group of doll friends.
