How to Play Darts 201

Dart games are always great fun, and can be enjoyed by all family members.

The object when playing 201 is to score exactly 201 before the other player(s).

Before being allowed to score, you need to open your scoring by hitting a double. This amount is deducted from 201. You use all 3 darts for each turn.

Try to score as high as possible, but keep an eye on your score, as you can only finish on a double.

It may be necessary, on occasion, to ‘bust’, or throw a score that exceeds the score remaining, as then you don’t score anything, to enable you to get to your target score easier in the following round. You don’t have to use all 3 darts in the finishing round. If you get the finishing double you need with the first of three throws, well done.
