This little activity is best played in shallow water, and can even be simulated in a sand pit.

Let the children challenge each other to mud-fights.

The idea is to let them mud up their opponent.

The winner is chosen by the competitors, as being the cleanest (least mud covered) of them.

All children are then allowed to tackle and mud the winner.

If played in real dirty mud, hose children down before allowing them near the house, yourself or the auto.
