I noticed recently that after having sex I had developed a yeast infection that was a little hard to get rid of. So I did a lot of research and found the most effective way to get rid of one.

If you notice you have abornmal discharge, odor, itching, burning or discomfort when urinating, you might have a yeat infection. Luckily, if you can't make it to a doctor, you can buy an over the counter test from your drug store to see if you have an infection. However, it is not always 100% accurate. My test had told me I didn't have an infection when I did.

When you have been diagnosed with the infection, purchase monistat 3. One day treatments are a little less effective. Be sure to follow the instructions and use it AT NIGHT. if you do it during the day, you're going to find that you have to start the whole process over.

if you are looking for a more natural treatment, you can take plain yogurt, insert some in a tampon, and insert it inside of you like you would with the monistat. This actually is very effective. Eating yogurt regularly also helps or taking over the counter AZO yeast pills. Once you are over your infection, be sure to wash all your underwear in EXTRA HOT water. sometimes, the bacteria can live in your underwear so it needs to be washed thoroughly or thrown out.
