If you want the best care for your pets or livestock, you may need to know how to determine a true specialist and know how to locate one.

Know that a specialist in a Veterinary field is a Veterinarian who is board certified in that specialty. He or she should have a diploma from the American College of Veterinary (specialty) or from the American Board of Veterinary Medicine in that specialty.
